Introducing Campaign Builder for Muse
Back in March, Ahalogy unveiled Muse—an industry-first software platform to help leading marketers identify and act on changing trends in their category—as a way to to display these trends in one simple, actionable platform. Once again, we’ve got some big news to share as we officially release Campaign Builder for Muse—just in time for Q4 planning.
Campaign Builder is an in-app tool where marketers can save seasonal topics and trend data to make it easier for teams to plan on-trend advertising and promotions. Over the past year, Ahalogy has evolved into a leading influencer marketing company—one that prides itself on high quality, data-driven content (Ahalogy Brandables) produced by our network of Ahalogy Partners. The trend data discovered in Muse is the backbone of every Ahalogy campaign, which is why it only made sense that we create a place to plan ahead for future campaigns. Campaign Builder is one more way Ahalogy hopes to innovate the influencer marketing industry with data.
THE POWER OF DATA-DRIVEN CREATIVE
Influencers are at the forefront of the trend data found in Muse. The tool pulls data from a network of 5,500+ premium content creators across the web, specializing in different categories like Food & Drink, Health & Wellness, Home Decor, DIY & Crafts, Fashion, and more.
The software is the first to tap into influencer performance data—gathered from original content and across billions of subsequent social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest—to measure the success of these trends, making it easy for marketers to keep a pulse on their category and predict when certain topics will be most popular. For example, Ahalogy data shows that Halloween starts trending in August, the topic “breakfast” experiences the highest engagement on weekends, and some of the hottest new foods are jackfruit (a meat substitute) and sweet potato toast.
Campaign Builder is a way to capitalize on those trends. A notable example can be found in the work we did in partnership with Quaker Oats back in 2015. Muse influencer trend data revealed that oatmeal wasn’t as outdated of a product as the brand originally suspected. In fact, millennials and busy moms were using the product in overnight oats recipes. This new breakfast trend was convenient, healthy, and easy to customize—not to mention Instagram-worthy.
So we set to work. Some of our network’s most talented influencers created branded overnight oats recipes starring Quaker Oatmeal. Backed by paid media and the addition of seasonal ingredients (inspired by the trend data found in Muse), we ensured the recipe content would hit the right buyer.
The influencer campaign was so successful that it inspired a print ad campaign and the eventual creation of a brand new product that hit store shelves this past spring.
